Tall Cedars of Lebanon Pyramids

No, TCL Pyramids aren’t fezzes. You are correct. But they ARE some of the coolest and most charming hats in Fraternal America, and I love them.

TAFC.2009.88 ~ Tall Cedars Pyramid, Brandywine Forest No.20, New Castle, DE

White Tall Cedars of Lebanon pyramid with green trim, green tassel, and red lettering.

Color scheme would suggest a past/present Supreme Forest Committeeman with 3 years service. No name on the pyramid, but an accompanying pyramid has the name E.L. Mettler.

email of 13.Aug 2009 from Jan Stanton, Dir of Admin at the Supreme Forest, states that current pyramids no longer would carry both the local Forest name and the Supreme Forest designation, that local and SF pyramids these days are separate.

TAFC.2009.89 ~ Tall Cedars Pyramid, Supreme Forest

White Tall Cedars of Lebanon pyramid with green trim, yellow (?) tassel, and red lettering.

Color scheme does not match up with current formats to identify office of the wearer. Closest to a Past/Present SF Committeeman with 3 years service.  Has the name E.L. Mettler on a small label sewn into the band.

TAFC.2009.90 ~ Tall Cedars Pyramid, Brandywine Forest No.20, New Castle, DE

White Tall Cedars of Lebanon pyramid with black trim, yellow tassel, and green lettering. An enameled pin holds the tassel and reads TCL beneath a tall cedar tree.

Color scheme would suggests that this was worn by  an appointed officer or unit head. No name on the pyramid, but an accompanying pyramid has the name E.L. Mettler.

TAFC.2009.91 ~ Tall Cedars Pyramid, Brandywine Forest No.20, New Castle, DE

Red Tall Cedars of Lebanon pyramid with green trim, yellow tassel, and yellow lettering.

Color scheme would suggests that this was worn by  a Grand Tall Cedar (head of a Forest). No name on the pyramid, but an accompanying pyramid has the name E.L. Mettler.

TAFC.2009.96 ~ Tall Cedars Pyramid, Plainfield Forest No.84 (New Jersey?)

Green Tall Cedars of Lebanon pyramid with green trim, green tassel, and yellow lettering. I think this is a newer pyramid.

Color scheme would suggests that this was worn by general brother of the organization.

The Plainfield Forest seems, based on internet search, to be unfortunately defunct.
